Sometimes, we can do no great things, only small things with love and often we realise the best way to make ourselves happy is by giving an opportunity for someone else to have a smile on their face.

With this concept in mind, the Rotaract Club of Achievers Lanka Business School initiated its signature community service project "Christmas Smiles" which involved the club members visiting an orphanage and spending the whole day with the kids there around the season of Christmas, in keeping with it’s true spirit of love and giving. This was done in the hope that the day spent will give them memories they can cherish for a lifetime.

Throughout the years the club has strived to give more into this project, to truly benefit those who are deserving. Since the purpose of the project is to build a smile, special focus was always given to the kids in giving them what they would most want. Hence the day includes magic shows, bouncy castles, santa clause, presents, dancing and our members simply spend some time with the orphans, doing our bit to fill the void they feel.
